Roșia Montană - three weeks later
Over 10.000 people have gathered again today in Bucharest to protest against the mining project at Roșia Montană. This is the 22nd day of protests in Bucharest and around the country, where thousands of people have gathered daily over the last three weeks.

Roșia Montană - protests in Bucharest
Between 2000 and 3000 people have protested today in Bucharest against a controversial bill by the Government allowing the mining of gold by Roșia Montană Gold Corporation (RMGC) - a company with a Canadian majority stakeholder (Gabriel Resources) at Roșia Montană (Apuseni Mountains). Similar protests have taken place in more than 20 cities around the country as well as in cities outside Romania.
